The big day has finally been announced. Apple has sent out invites for its next iPhone launch event, and it is September 12th. The event is taking place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Campus, and it should be a pretty big deal.
The big headline is the rumored launch of three new iPhones. We have an upgraded iPhone X and a new larger version of the X with a rumored 6.5” screen, making it the largest iPhone ever. And of course we have the rumored launch of the cheaper LCD iteration of the new iPhone with a 6.1” screen. More exciting for us, we are supposed to be getting multiple new colors for the new iPhones as well.
But along with the launch of these new phones, the rumor mill is saying we will be getting a lot more updated Apple products, including the Apple Watch Series 4. For anyone into wearable tech, make sure you pay attention, as this looks to be the biggest upgrade to the Apple Watch yet. The folks at 9to5Mac have dropped a bunch of information and a photo. A new screen design, thanks to Apple’s investment in microLED technology, means that the display is now nearly edge-to-edge, giving you about 15% more usable space.
Less likely, but potential news from the event is updated accessories. AirPod 2 devices and Apples wireless charger could make an appearance, and there have been lots of rumors for updated Macbook Airs and iPads.
We won’t be in Cupertino for the launch, but rest assured we will be covering all the news as it comes pouring out of the event. Make sure you keep it locked here on Analogy.tech for all the updates and hot products from Apple.
